Job Description:
1.) Piping Designer 3 (Flow Sheet Designer) ~ Houston, TX
- P&ID drafter with SmartPlant experience to design flow sheets
- Piping designer with 2 years experience supporting a petro-chemical, refinery environment.
** MUST have SmartPlant experience.
** MUST have 1 year recent PDS experience - in production
- Must have job stability
- +/- $30-40/hr (DOE)
- Contract or Direct
- Need 5+ guys

2.) Piping PDS Coordinator (Designer 6) ~ Houston, TX
- Min. 15 years experience in the petrochem/ refinery industry
- Very knowlegable of PDS software suite - equipment, piping, frameworks.
- Generation of plans and sections with drawing manager, enevelope generation for clash detection, generation of RDB conflict reports, extraction of Isometrics, PDS system trouble shooting and coordination, etc.
Job Qualifications:
- Min. of 1 year current exp. in Piping PDS Coordination.
- Should also be capable of using Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Need 3 guys

3.) Piping Designer 8 (Sr. Piping Design Supervisor) ~ Houston, TX
- PDS piping designer with 20 years experience supporting a PDS petro-chemical, refinery environment project.
- Must have Refinery experience.
- Must have experience leading a PDS job of $1B or greater.
- Must have 3-5years piping lead/supervisory experience.
- Must have minimum of 3 consecutive years of PDS experience.
- Must have job stability in past three jobs.

4.) Sr. PDS Piping Designer ~ Beaumont/Houston, TX
This is a very hot order! They will respond, interview & hire most times within 24 hours. We need 20 guys now, and possibly another 20 additional to follow.
- Refinery, Petrochemical and/or LNG experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year hands on exp. with PDS.
Duties:
- Develops conceptual layouts with minimal information during early stages of plot plan development.
- Capable of generating highly complex layouts.
- Develops plot plans for process units, or any offsite or utility area.
- Function as a piping checker at all levels of complexity.
- 3D modeling of all plant design work phases, planning or production input.
- Run programs for checking the status, connectivity, database reliability, interference, etc. on model design files. Run extraction programs for isometric and orthographic design files, as well as extractions of component reports for the use of material take-off purposes.
- Capable of 3D CADD modeling from using vendor drawings, P&IDs, plot plan and project outline scope.
- Training others in the use of 3D modeling, running report programs and extraction programs.
Long-term contract (possible hire)
Rate: $70-75/hr range (DOE)
