Job Description:
Process Engineer ~ Houston, TX
- Qualification: BS Chemical or Petroleum Engineering
- Experience: 5+ years minimum in the upstream (Oil & Gas Exploration sector) or 8 to 10 years in downstream (Petrochemical & chemical industry) industry.
- Preference will be given to those who worked in project engineering environment (EPC type of organization such as KBR, Bechtel, Technip etc)
Experience in the following areas is essential:
- Able to conceptualize and create process model using Aspentech- HYSYS software
- Prepare Process Flow Diagram and Utility Flow diagram
- Prepare Process & Instrumentation diagrams
- Understand & update the design philosophies and design documents for the ongoing FPSO project (process design criteria, line sizing calculation, flare & blow down philosophy, Equipment sizing criteria, Vent & Drain philosophy, corrosion monitoring & material selection philosophy, process Control & Shutdown philosophy, Isolation philosophy, etc)
- Process equipment sizing and rating (sizing separators, heat exchangers, pump specification, gas compression system process specification etc)
- Prepare process data sheets for Instruments (control valves, relieve valves, field transmitters etc)
- Conceptualize process system layout
- Prepare Utilities estimates
- Participate in Hazid & Hazop
- Prepare SAFE Charts and C & E diagram
- Prepare Material selection diagrams
- Familiarity with codes & standards such as API 14C, 14E, 520, 521, ASME B31.3, Section VIII div.1, API 617, 618, 610, 674 etc)
Able to work as an integral team and willing to travel

Sr. Process Engineers - Houston, TX
- 10+ years experience, BS Degree required
- Lead Process effort as part of an overall project team; Perform Process analysis, including HYSIS simulation of oil and gas facilities
- Manage entry level and junior engineers as part of a design team; Prepare reports on findings as well as cost estimates, PFDs and P&IDs. Participate in HAZOPS.
- Must be experienced in analysis and evaluation of oil and gas processes
- Proficient with HYSIS, Aspen, or similar PC based Analysis programs. Experienced Project Lead with discipline management experience. Demonstrated desire for professional development and increasing responsibility
- Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain a P.E.
- Experience with Subsea Developments a PLUS - Chemical Plant Experience a PLUS- Refinery experience a plus.
- Long term/permanent position in Houston, TX (& possibly in LA)

- Need 4-5 people - ALL LEVELS with the exception of new grads.
- NEED to have LNG and/or Gas processing experience.
- Sulfur experience is a HUGE PLUS (and preferred).
- Temp-hire or direct position.
