Job Description: Need Manager of Project Controls, Cost/Scheduling Managers, Sr. Planner/Schedulers, Cost/Estimators, etc. w/ Onshore & Offshore Engineering exp. (TX/CO/NJ/etc.)
1.) Manager of Project Controls - Houston, TX - Directs and administers the work of the Project Control Managers with Overall responsibility for Department procedures, systems, administration and quality. Directly reporting to this position is: Project Control Managers. - Manages all personnel (Home Office and Field) including work assignments, promotions, performance reviews, training, etc. Reviews work load of Project Control department and generates requests for personnel additions or reductions. Oversees updates of departmental procedures & work practices. Oversees and performs training programs. Represents Company Project Control at client presentations and meetings. Participates, as needed, in proposal development. Approves travel authorizations and expense reports. Monitors departmental budgets and expenditures. Interviews candidates for hiring. Samples departmental and project output for quality and adherence to procedures. - Coordinates Company Project Control and Computer System work with all Company affiliates. Develops long-range plans for the Project Control in conjunction with the Computer Systems Departments. Participates in problem resolution on projects, as required. Acts as Company representative on committees concerned with Project Control and Computer Systems. Coordinates recommendations made by computer program users for improvements in methods, and or data with implementation in the affected programs. Performs other related duties as assigned by executive management.
2.) Qualifications: Basic knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as accounting, business administration, mechanical, civil, or electrical technology. Working knowledge of cost accounting. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of scheduling and cost systems and other software. Five to ten years function as a PCM on Major EPC projects. Fifteen to twenty years experience in the E&C industry. Must have hands on knowledge of P3 3.1,P3e, and P3 5.0.
3.) Supervising Estimator ~ Provide the appropriate Estimating strategies, tools, skills, and temperament to ensure successful project execution. Preparation of detailed estimating plans, overall cost estimate and summaries, detailed estimate reports and basis of estimate write-ups. Liasion with client project personnel for consistent and accurate scope definition, construction strategy, construction management requirements and anticipated productivity levels. - 10 to 15 years estimating experience in the Oil & Gas, chemical and refining industries. Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. Domestic and international experience. - Location: 59 & 6-10
