Job Description:
Senior PDMS Piping Designer, Houston, TX
Description
The primary function of this position is piping and equipment layout, detail design and checking.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Layout and detail design of facilities from PFD?s and P&ID?s.
Modeling of equipment, piping and access/egress ways.
Prepare isometrics for checking and following P&ID?s.
Check isometrics and other piping drawings.
Coordinate with other department disciplines to ensure designs are complete.
May lead a team of designers.
Some travel may be required
Capable of PDMS 3D modeling and creating 2D draft and Spool drawings for fabrication.

Experience Level:
2 Years

Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years experience as a piping designer preferably with offshore oil and gas experience

Software Experience Required:
Minimum 2-3 years PDMS experience
AutoCad

Prefer:
PDMS Draft experience Site experience (working in a shipyard or other related site experience) FPSO, platform experience

Must have working PDMS experience, will not consider candidates who only have schooling.
