Job Description: Part-time PC Support / Help Desk Specialist
Must have prior help desk experience!
A Bridgeton based company is in immediate need of a Part Time IT/Help Desk Associate.
This individual will work four hours per day, five days per week. Morning schedules are preferred. The position consists of installing, configuring and troubleshooting PC hardware, peripherals and software applications in a LAN environment. Job duties include providing support of:
* Windows XP Professional desktop operating systems * Common Windows desktop applications such as ACT! and Firefox * Lotus Notes R6 email clients * MS Office Suite * TCP/IP networking * Printers and peripherals * Computer hardware * Network hardware (switches) * Telephony (PBX adds/moves/changes) * Trend Micro OfficeScan
The position will pay $14.00-$16.00 per hour, and is a long term contract position.
This position requires:
* A minimum of 2 years of actual hands on experience providing PC Support * Experience in responding to user questions related to hardware and software applications at the user's desk * Experience working with vendors and service providers to open trouble tickets or report problems as needed * Experience using desktop imaging and Group Policies in a domain environment * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
