Job Description:
The Stelex Enterprise Asset Management Services Group provides development and system implementation and support services to the regulated industries.
The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Project Management Specialist will support the Infrastructure Management Systems (IMS). A key component of the IMS is the Enterprise Asset Management System, a work management system that will utilize work and asset management system technologies (work orders) to maximize the performance of the construction and maintenance workforce as well as ensure regulatory compliance of all inspection requirements. The EAM is IBM's Maximo System.
Project Management Specialist will:
Provide support to the Project Manager to coordinate project planning, requirements definition, develop architecture, select and manage applications, plan future work, develop and maintain project documentation and participate in project meetings.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure Management and Enterprise Asset Management Systems project schedule.
Prepare documents for the EAM Maximo Quality Gate process for all projects in production, design and development.
Project Management Specialist requires at least 3 years experience in Maximo and related systems, serving in a project management support role for the development, maintenance and testing of customized Maximo applications. Must be proficient in MS Project with hands-on experience in the development and documentation of functional and technical specifications.
Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
Preferred:
Understanding of the Maximo application, from both a technical and functional perspective and how it integrates with other systems.
Working knowledge of maintenance management and best practices and processes.
General knowledge of workflow processes, best practices and business processes as they relate to Maximo.
