Reference Number: DBA1208 Job Description: Our client is looking for a very senior Oracle DBA with core DBA skills including: 10g certification, performance monitoring and tuning, physical and logical database design, backups (hot and cold),reorgs, recovery, installs and patches. Will work with both Oracle and SQL Server. This person will be considered the "go to person" and subject matter expert on all things Oracle.THIS IS NOT AN APPLICATION DBA. This added person will allow the DBA group to achieve greater work / life balance including some work from home days. Will be working with 11g, OBIE, and Hyperion on pre-release IBM servers. The initial assignment involves a long term, global project that would migrate all Oracle instances back to the world headquarters in Texas. Experience Level: 5+ Years Requirements: 8 - 10 years as an Oracle and / or SQL Server DBA B.S. in Computer Science or MIS or related field 10g certification Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX operating systems including AIX and Linux

Location: San Antonio TX Duration: Direct Placement Pay Rate: up to $120,000 + bonus
