Job Description: GENERAL NATURE and SCOPE Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, is responsible for transportation of domestic, International and Governmental shipments; the receiving of all incoming materials both inventory and non inventory, their distribution and warehousing. Also, is responsible for storage of finished products and inventory of all materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned, in addition to those identified below. ? Responsible for supervision of assigned hourly and salaried associates. ? Works with Supply Chain Manager to establish hourly/daily/weekly Distribution/Inventory productivity and time utilization goals. ? Review all documentation and monitor Distribution activities for accuracy and timeliness. ? Ensure timely shipment of all customer orders. Secure data for the Supply Chain Manager that will focus on improving efficiency, quality and safety. ? Ensure that all inventory items are being cycle counted in specific locations by system, storage, on demand stock out, etc. basis. ? Provide root-cause analysis and stock adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy through Inventory Control Analyst. ? Ensure all stock items have been accurately adjusted. ? Works with carriers to assure best rates for inbound and outbound shipments. ? Ensure timely receipt of all incoming materials.
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE ? Bachelors degree in Business, Materials Management or Operations. ? Five to seven years experience in a high volume Distribution or Manufacturing facility. ? Excellent math/counting skills. Very strong written and verbal communication skills as well as problem resolution skills. ? Demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement teams, root cause analysis. ? Good understanding of GMP and ISO 9002. Demonstrated successful experience in Project Management and Inventory Control. ? Ability to learn and utilize computer in standard business applications including word processing, spreadsheets and databases. ? Must be knowledgeable in the proper handling of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and nonhazardous, as defined by FDA, OSHA, EPA and DOT. We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
