Job Summary:
Develop, create, and modify applications software or specialized programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyze and design databases within an application area.
?Solve complex problems by conferring with team to design system and to obtain project information.
?Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
?Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
?Deliver and maintain frameworks, tools and standards to enable consistency in the environment, re-use and time to market of business functions.
?Project manage and provide technical leadership.
?Develop requirements, architecture, design and test plan documentation.
?Provide leadership and mentoring for contractors and team of developers.
?Conduct research on emerging software, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Background Required:
?BA/BS degree with an analytical discipline
?5+ years of experience directly related to professional software development
?Excellent written and oral communication skills
?Strong analytical ability to perform full range of system design and programming responsibilities
?Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology.
?Expert knowledge of systems analysis/design, computer programming and job control languages.
?Technical leadership skills particularly in Flash 7 & 8, Actionscript 2 & 3, Flex builder, Java and User Interface Design/Information Architecture
