Reference Number: 631022pw Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: Involvement in joint initiative of several transmission-owning utilities in Midwest region that are to expand the high voltage electric transmission grid to ensure continued reliable service. Provide engineering and design for the construction of transmission lines (35kV to 500kV) in Midwest region. Permitting support, creating detailed scopes, engineering calculations, detail design drawings. Modeling in PLS CADD, material specification and requisitions, estimating, construction support, overall project coordination and scheduling. Plan, develop, coordinate and direct a number of large and important projects or a project of major scope and importance in supervisory capactity research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity. Can be based at Minneapolis MN or Eau Claire location. Requires occasional on call duties and after hours response. BACKGROUND REQUIRED: ?BSEE or BSCE from an ABET accredited curriculum, or equivalent, plus appropriate continuing education. ?Master's degree in the field of engineering, math or science from an ABET-accredited curriculum is desirable. ? Licensed Professional Engineer certification is required. Membership in Professional Society (Member Grade) and/or Technical Societies (Member Grade) is preferred. ?Requires 9-13 years of related experience. Email WORD resume to: plymouth@entegee.com.
