Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Field Clinical Engineer to serve as liaison between physicians and company re clinical research issues including field research, feasibility studies, IDE clinical trials, troubleshooting and future product features, etc. Collaborate with Regulatory, QA and R&D departments. Select and monitor clinical sites and conduct field research. Facilitate submission of research for presentations. Clinical research education and training with physicians and staff. Attend weekly conference calls or technical updates as needed. On call status 24/7 and travel could be up to 100% some weeks. Can be based out of any California location with access to large airport. Relocation assistance is offered.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
3+ years clinical experience in the field in a technical or medical field and Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or Science
Desire 5 years field experience supporting an implantable device and MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Science
Knowledge of human physiology, physician and hospital practices, O.R. familiarity
