Job Description:
Our client is looking for a network technician to better support a growing business and client base. This position requires that the individual be able to work in an un-supervised environment outside of the office at the customers location. Completion of tasks is critical and must be completed on or before schedule. The position requires reliable transportation for job related commutes and will be reimbursed at a reasonable rate. The candidate that is selected will be required to provide service and support on multiple product lines and will therefore receive the training necessary in order to do so. This will require travel and overnight stays at training facilities outside of the Wichita area. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career.
The candidates that will be considered must meet the requirements below:
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a networked environment using Microsoft server products;
Hands on experience with Active Directory;
Experience with backup software and its operation;
Demonstrate proficiency with TCP/IP and other protocols;
High level of knowledge regarding Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications; their installation and operation;
Ability to troubleshoot in a logical and efficient manner;
Demonstrate proficiency in desktop and notebook repair;
Experience in a Help Desk or other customer service position;
Excellent written and verbal communication.
