Project Description:
The Windows Systems Administrator will contribute to the overall build and support of all existing and new Windows Server infrastructure. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Management of the Windows team's support ticket queue.
Support the Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 server environment containing over 600 servers.
Build and configure Windows 2003 servers.
Provide level 2 support to multiple IS teams and end-users globally.
User ID creation and management.
Print queue creation and management.
Microsoft DNS, DHCP & WINS management.
Administration of VMWare 3.x virtual server environment.
Administration of server patching process.
Non-Technical Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Information Services professionals.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
Ability and willingness to work effectively in a business-critical production environment.
