Project Description:
Our clients Derivative Operations Group supports a growing volume of Over the Counter (OTC) trades. The Derivative Operations Systems team is aligned with this group to support and enable back office outsourcing, portfolio management reference data, trade entry, confirm tracking, confirm matching, OTC pricing and settlements. The Derivative Operations Systems team is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to lead the implementation of projects that support these growth areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for the development of internal systems with vendor applications for OTC settlement, which includes trade communication, pricing, position reconciliation and other related functions. In addition, the Analyst will work on the integration with third party systems such as MarkIt, DTCC, and SwapsWire. The candidate will work closely with the Derivative Operations Group on additional internal initiatives and lead these initiatives through to implementation. The role includes requirements gathering and working closely with the development team as solutions are implemented. The Analyst will also be responsible for assisting with systems testing, deployment, training and support.

Requirements: Tools/Technologies/Experience and Skills:
Must have 5-10 years of Business or Systems Analysis experience with a strong ability to extract and document requirements with project stakeholders: (Required). Strong working knowledge of derivative instruments and processing: (Required). Experience with formal QA practices: (Required). Proficient with SQL and relational databases: (Required). Strong knowledge of Back Office practices and markets: (Required). Excellent written and verbal communications skills: (Desirable). Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced team environment: (Desirable). Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively: (Desirable). Experience working in Iterative Development environments: (Desirable). Experience in management of Vendor or Outsourcing relationships: (Desirable).
