Project Description:
Our client's J2EE INFRASTRUCTURE team has started many initiatives to enhance its capability to deliver a secure, stable, scalable and highly available J2EE Infrastructure. The J2EE team is working on many PSP initiatives such as Tier I application**s production environment isolations. The IES team is exploring other J2EE products/technologies like WebLogic Portal, AquaLogic, and SOA.
The team requires a resource that can primarily work with J2EE and Service Operations team in planning, designing and implementing the J2EE infrastructure improvements. The resource would also bring in the much required experience on ESB, Portal, and SOA based products; help our client to making informed decision, developing evaluation, testing and deployment strategy for the new products/technologies.
All candidates must have significant experience working in a central IT infrastructure team. The nature of the position is focused on building J2EE infrastructure and not J2EE applications and as such J2EE Engineers are required, not developers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
As a senior J2EE ENGINEER will have to perform the following responsibilities:
Work on the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and support of the JEE Infrastructure ? WebLogic application server and tomcat.
Evaluate, conduct POC and implement new JEE products/technologies - JES,JBOSS, JCAPS etc.
Work with platform, operations and applications team to implement JEE infrastructure standards, best practices and guidelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring, promoting adherence to standardized IT processes, ITIL, strategic principles and architectural standards.

5+ Years of experience in WebLogic Application Server: (Required).
2+ Years of experience in Tomcat, JBOSS: (Required).
2+ Years of experience in GlashFish, Java Enterprise Server, JCAPS, WebSphere AS, WebSphere MQ: (Required).
3+ Years of experience in Jython, Python, WLST, Perl, Unix Scripting: (Required).
3+ Years of experience in J2EE,WebServices,SOA,Java, Portal: (Required).
2+ Years of experience in Diagnostic tools ? Compuware or Wiley: (Required).
2+ Years of experience in Aqualogic ? ESB, Security: (Desirable).
