Project Description:
The SERVICE NOW Systems Analyst with JavaScript will be responsible for developing functionality in a Web 2.0 (very high plus) environment for the implementation of ITIL based processes. This is a development role which will also require analysis skills.
This role will report to the project manager, and require a high degree of collaboration with the analysts and test teams.
Candidates need to have very strong Javascripting skills together with need what is listed as minimum requirements in order to be selected for an interview. Candidates additionally must have experience with Service-Now along with ITIL or ITSM. If the candidates have, at least, 1 of the 3 things mentioned in addition to Javascript and strong analysis skills, then the hiring manager will be interested in setting up interviews. Candidates will be doing more configuration and analysis work than development work. The client is decommissioning Remedy and they purchased Service-Now as a replacement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing new functions, creating enhancements, and fixing issues. The role will involve development based on requirements specifications, but we are also looking for a candidate that can offer up solutions to business problems based on analysis. Consultant will also be doing basic unit testing there is another group that will be doing the final acceptance testing.
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Requirements: Tools/Technologies/Skills/Experience:
5+ years of experience implementing web based solutions: (Required). 5+ years of JavaScript development experience in all web technologies: (Required). Experience in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) business process, ITSM and a working knowledge of IT operations: (Required). Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.): (Required). Experience developing tools using PaaS (Platform as a Service), such as Force.com, Google Apps, etc.: (Required). Experience with ITIL(Certification is not required, but solid exposure/experience is mandatory) related software, such as Remedy, CA Service Desk or Service-Now: (Required). Knowledge of CMDB and/or Asset Management Services; Business Services and Configuration Item relationships: (Highly Desirable).
