Job Description:
Our client is one of the largest financial advisory firm in the United States having more than 12,000 financial advisors and 2.8 million clients.
Project Description:
This technical resource would receive work direction from Team Lead and/or Architect.
The Team will provide support to our client's new system.This support would include two main areas:
1) Trouble shooting and resolving post launch problems/issues.
2) Developing, testing and implementing small/minor enhancement requests.
He/she would become a member of the Compliance Technology team and have these responsibilities:
Work directly with business end users to understand and help define their requirements.
Perform technical analysis and design and develop related documentation.
Estimate work effort and timelines for his/her work.
Perform TCE development/configuration.
Perform Unit testing and support System, Integration and User testing.
Work with Technology resources to migrate TCE changes through environments (Development, Test and Production).
Experience Level:
5+ Years
Requirements:
Tools/Technologies/Experience/Skills:
1+ Years of TCE development experience: (Required).
Expertise in Object oriented based Java, J2EE, XML, HTML and JavaScript: (Required).
Database knowledge and experience: (Required).
Ability to communicate effectively with various members of the business community and the Technology team: (Required).
Ability for getting beyond the functionality of the application and truly understand the business process flow and expectations that are needed to meet the requirements of the end-users: (Required).
Ability to look beyond a particular task and see the big picture, understanding the implications of making a change and the potential ripple affects on other areas of the design: (Required).
Critical Thinking skills: (Required).
Experience in financial services or legal/compliance business: (Highly Desired).
