Job Description: Manager Engineering NPD & ISO
SUMMARY:
Project Manager and Technical lead for electronics, software, embedded real time firmware, and programmable logic based projects. Responsible for all facets of project from architecture through design, implementation, verification, integration, and transfer to manufacturing. Must operate in capacity of manager, engineer, and mentor as needed. Technical lead engineering involving: Firmware development, both analog and digital circuit design, power supply design, schematic capture, PCB layout management, and production release management, FPGA logic design with graphical and Verilog programming, and technical review of project engineers. Experience with new product development and ISO processes. RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage engineering team: software, firmware, hardware, logic, mechanical ? Management of project: schedule, budget, and resources ? Coordination of project system integration ? Assign tasks to optimize productivity, reduce project risk, and grow the team ? Track and resolve issues ensuring deadlines are met and risks are minimized ? Prepare weekly project progress reports and estimates ? Project documentation including specifications, reports, manuals, etc. ? Technical specification and experimental analysis report writing ? New project proposal writing

Must have ability to collaborate with others and lead a team by example and inspiration. Must have strong verbal and written communication
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience is desired.
Experience in project/program management and system integration and hands-on engineering in some of the following disciplines: consumer/commercial product development, imaging devices, networking, C, C++, wireless, video, impedance control, audio, high voltage, optics, worst-case circuit design, portable equipment, algorithm development, DSP, FPGA, schematics, Agile, PCB design, FCC testing, design-for-test and manufacturing, product manufacturing, and commercial product development.
