Job Description: The qualified SAP HR, Time and Payroll candidate will join our SAP Services team which supports our internal SAP system as well as other HR systems interfacing with SAP (i.e. Time Collection systems). Client currently has the following SAP HR modules implemented; PA, OM, BN, and PY.
The HR Time Systems Lead will be responsible for acting as a systems consultant to HR and Payroll Operations working closely with business process owners to plan, design and implement process driven solutions. The Sr. HRIS Specialist responsibilities include design, configuration, testing, documentation and overall support of AutoTime and SAP's Time and Payroll modules.
Principal Responsibilities: - Report to the HR and Payroll Systems Manager in the Corporate Headquarters
- Gather and analyze business requirements from SMEs, document functional/technical requirements, develop and recommend solutions and identify any potential process changes affected
- Perform Functional Design for new projects and enhancements to existing projects.
- Develop functional and technical specification for system changes
- Manage internal or third pary programming/development activities.
- Provide support for SAP (and other systems interfacing with SAP) during implementations and production support
- Create plans and lead QA/test functions for all configuration/development
- Administer user support documentation and provide training and coaching to end users
- Ensure adherence to change control policies and adherence to audit and legislative guidelines
- Maintain project schedules and manage progress toward final solution and results
- Maintain project communications with process owners, project sponsors, and management within SAP Services
Experience Level: 3 Years
Requirements: - At least 3 years experience in the configuration of SAP Time Evaluation and Payroll (US and Canada)
- Experience with integration of Payroll and FI/CO
- Strong knowledge of payroll operations for U.S. and Canada
- Experience in QA/Testing, Go-Live and production support
- Demonstrated proficiency of systems analysis tools and methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communicatin skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
- Ability to travel to other Client sites as needed
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of various non-SAP time collection methods is a plus [i.e. Kaba Time Clocks (using AutoTime software), Cybershift or Kronos]
