Job Description: Prefer an operator that understands fundamental optics principles, has a working knowledge of electro-optical test equipment and opto-mechanical assemblies and alignment of optical beam lines. Knowledge of optical assembly and bonding using various adhesives and clean room experience would be advantageous but not a requirement. Experience in the assembly, alignment and testing of high energy Q-switched laser systems (YAG systems) is desired. Experience with resonator alignment or prior experience on military lasers is preferred. They should have experience with test equipment such as energy detectors, beam analyzers, oscilloscopes and computer knowledge. Production experience would be preferred. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced team environment with daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
Experience Level: 3 Years
Requirements: 1. US Citizen with an active DOD Clearance or the ability to get an Interim Clearance. 2. Construct, adapt and modify assemblies, systems, and subsystems of electro-optical, diode pumped Lasers, troubleshoot and correct malfunctions. 3. Perform various tests or experiments of moderate complexity. 4. Run acceptance tests using associated test equipment to customer specs and perform routine analysis of data. 5. Perform alignment of optical hardware. 6. Experience in the assembly, alignment and testing of high energy Q-switched laser systems (YAG systems) is desired. 7. Should have experience with test equipment such as energy detectors, beam analyzers, oscilloscopes and computer knowledge. 8. Must be able to ensure accuracy of paperwork to Government standards.
Looking for an experienced operator who can construct, adapt and modify assemblies, systems and sub-systems of electro-optical, diode pumped Lasers and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions. They will perform various tests or experiments of moderate complexity requiring minor modifications in test setups or procedures. They will run acceptance tests using associated test equipment to customer specifications and perform routine analysis of data to check and verify applicability, practicality and accuracy. They will perform alignment of optical hardware to meet customer specifications. They must be able to ensure accuracy of paperwork to government standards
