BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS
· Conduct analysis of business and system requirements
· Develop preliminary and detail design specifications
· Develop and implement application systems or modifications to existing systems / processes
· Emphasis on technical solution development vs project mgt or business process analysis
· Leverage SAP investment to improve operational efficiency of manufacturing and supply chain operations. Improve productivity and improve working capital efficiency
· Ensure appropriate level of communication and testing during major projects and system upgrades
· Work with senior team member under general direction of a senior staff member or the assigned project leader.
· Monitor project assignments and maintain accuracy of project work plans. Keep project leader and team members informed on a regular basis of project status. Pro-actively communicate issues and necessary work plan changes to supervisor.
· May supervise the work of peers or contractors in a project team setting
· Help achieve IT Scorecard goals and metrics
· Perform job responsibilities according to Moen Operating Philosophy
· Leverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition, socialization and control
· Leverage new and innovative technologies for competitive business advantage and improving associate productivity
· Manage risk through corporate compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience working in a manufacturing or consumer products company
· Proven experience in the design, development implementation of major systems initiatives
· 4 years minimum experience working in production SAP R/3 environment
· Implementation and production support experience preferred in PP, MM, IM, SD modules
· 4 years minimum experience with ABAP programming is required. Experience with other SAP technologies such as SmartForms, NetWeaver and BW reporting are beneficial.
· Ability to create and modify SAP configuration via the IMG
· Ability to analyze business objectives/requirements and translate into a system solution.
· Works effectively on project teams as a leader or as a participant.
· Quickly learns and leverages new technologies and new business concepts
· Ability to present technical information to business stakeholders at various levels.
· Ability to apply appropriate corrective actions to identified people, process or systems issues.
· Required Education: Two or four year college degree and five years of experience with emphasis on Information Technology. Seven or more years of general IT experience in lieu of degree.
