The key here is quality engineering experience - Work will involve analyzing failed parts (starters, switches, altenators, wire harnesses, etc), figure out why they broke, then try to fix the problems. This is also called DFMEA, FMEA, or design verification ? usually automotive guys have this experience
BSEE or BSEET preferred ? may look at non-degreed
Need someone with general electrical experience (systems, hardware, & harnessing). Just not someone who only works one area. They want someone with more hands on electrical and system integration background. i.e. defining and writing the system specification, hands on testing and evaluation of systems and troubleshooting issues, and suggesting corrective measures needed.
