Unix/Windows Systems Administrator for the JRDC program to support the National Capital Region (NCR) in Falls Church, VA. Duties include new user account creation and configuration, as well as network printing administration of a Trusted Solaris 8 system and sunray thin clients. Daily support of small Microsoft Windows Citrix infrastructure also required with connection from Sun Thin clients. Daily duties also include end user support both in person as well as via phone both locally and CONUS. This support includes networking and hardware support as well as support of multi-level software applications based on Open Office 2.2. Daily review of system to ensure backups are performing properly as well as tape rotation. System audit log reviews as required. Positions are contiguent upon contract award.

Requirements:
Must have at least two years of relevant Solaris 8 system administration experience (Trusted Solaris required), NIS+, and CDE (Common Desktop Environment). Two years experience with Windows Terminal Services and Citrix administration. Windows Active Directory experience required. Experience required with sendmail as well as IP filter rules. Unix scripting language experience required. Must have a strong networking background with an emphasis on security. Must have a strong analytical background with strong troubleshooting skills. Strong written and communication skills required. Top Secret clearance.

Sun Certified System Administrator(SCSA), Sun Certified Network Administrator(SCNA), Citrix Certified Administrator( CCA)
