Our client in Orange County, CA is looking for an Aftermarket Program Manager to provide overall direction and management to a specific project or contract through all its manufacturing phases and installation phases. This person is responsible for program control, creating a manufacturing plan, labor and material budgets, cost reporting, coordination of resources, master scheduling, planning, and continual capacity analysis to resolve bottlenecks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and directs, with full authority, all phases of a program/contract from inception to completion. - Establishes a manufacturing plan in advance of the program kick-off. - Establishes and monitors master plans and detailed schedules. - Oversees the development of manufacturing processes, special tooling, test equipment, quality plans, detailed planning, lot sizes, sequencing, training, manufacturing aids, etc. required for the most efficient completion of all work. - Establishes complete Earned Value system to measure cost and schedule progress. - Directs the integration of a program team that includes manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, finance, depot, field service and administrative functional areas. - Establishes and maintains contacts to ensure conformance to requirements. - Reports status at PSG and Group IPR?s. - Responsible for program P&L including, but not limited to: * Labor & Material Budgets * Actual Cost and Schedule Reporting * Estimates to Complete and Estimates at Completion * Earned Value status and variance reporting

Requirements: 1. Must have a BS or BA degree. 2. Must have military experience 3. 5+ years experience in related field 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 5. 4+ years experience creating labor & material budgets, cost and schedule reporting, earned value status and variance reporting, and estimates to and at completion 6. 4+ years experience managing bids and proposals 7. Must be a US Citizen
