Our client in Southern California is looking for a Sr Contracts Administrator to be responsible for review of solicitations, preparation of proposals, contract negotiation including terms, conditions, prices, and cash flow, contract performance and contract close out under the general supervision of the Director Contracts & Pricing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review solicitations, initiate internal proposal preparation plan, and schedule timely proposal preparation - Request and obtain necessary cost, manufacturing and scheduling data for proposal pricing - Prepare quotes and proposals - Negotiate contract terms, conditions, prices and cash flow. - Receive, evaluate and analyze Contracts - Prepare and disseminate proper instructions and provide to the internal organization direction on Contact requirements by means of issuing internal Sales Orders or Work Authorizations. - Post award Contract/Subcontract administration and follow up. - Review all contract amendments and changes. - Analyze and monitor cash flow and major accounts receivables. - Interface with all levels of management. - Initiate internal and external correspondence. - Ensuring proper document control is maintained.

Requirements: 1. B.S. in Business, Accounting or related field 2. 7+ years detailed hands-on experience in government/military/commercial contracts administration. 3. Must have a thorough knowledge of contract law, FAR, and DFAR. 4. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community; ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. 5. Must be a US Citizen
