Our client in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to work remotely/telecommute for a 3 month contract beginning immediately. Travel for servicing or installations may be required on weekends and will be taken care of by our client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engineer, author, and execute network changes to install MPLS and MAN solutions to an existing enterprise network.
- Provides expert technical support and oversight in the planning, design, and operation of global, internal or external highly - complex data or voice communication systems including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), or Voice Networks.
- Analyzes, defines, and proposes solutions to install and adapt MPLS network architectures onto an existing production network.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing detailed engineering documentation, CLI configurations, Visio architectures and diagrams.
- Recommends hardware and physical requirements to support network infrastructure changes.
- Tests and validates infrastructure changes before client inspection.
- Travels to client sites to facilitate hands-on installation and configuration of network hardware.
- Participates in daily project meetings and client briefings.
- Provides timely post implementation briefs.
- Interact with cohorts and clients in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
1. WAN Engineer or Design Consulting Experience required
2. Protocol knowledge MPLS, BGP, EIGRP required
3. Cisco IOS configuration and troubleshooting required
4. Excellent documentation skills required
5. Excellent presentation skills preferred
6. Experience with High Availability architectures preferred
7. CCIE certification or equivalent
8. Must be comfortable working remotely and traveling 1/3 of the time
9. Secret Clearance preferred
10. Must be a US CITIZEN able to work on our W2 to qualify - unable to work with Visas at this time
COMPENSATION/COMMENTS:
$60/hr (DOE) - Optional APR Medical/Dental Benefits package, 401k plan, etc.. - benefits available shortly into this contract (30+ days - starting with the 1st of the following month of the start date).
If an offer is made, a 7 year criminal background check and drug screening will be conducted. Candidate must be pass both screenings to be hired.
