Job Description:
Qualitek Services has an immediate direct hire opening for a Product Manager (4218-1112) in Orlando, FL.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2-5 years of previous work experience.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required, but a business related degree or equivalent related experience would be considered. (MBA preferred)
Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in business development preferred unless MBA graduate.
Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
Must speak, read and write English fluently.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver .
Must pass 10-year background check and drug test.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
Familiar with Databases and Database Structures
Understanding of Wireless Communications (802.11) and other related standards highly preferred
Familiarity with broadcast TV and digital communications highly preferred
Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to motivate others
Ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects and work independently
Ability to develop models to determine feasibility of Business Partnerships/Relationships
Ability to develop flowcharts
Position Summary:
Oversee all aspects of the product line to include the multi-generational definition of product features to support the enhancement of the product line.
Prioritizes product releases and manages release communications to customers and stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
Manage Scope & Release Plans, devising multiple releases and launch plans for each release (15%)
Work with Stakeholders and Customers (internal and external) to identify and prioritize product features (20%)
Generate Product Definition Documents, Marketing Requirements Documents and other collateral necessary for product communication (25%)
Design and develop communication plans for all product releases (15%)
Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with key stakeholders to plan, prioritize and communicate product information (10%)
Support Product Development initiatives, such as User Council meetings and other product marketing events (2%)
Identify acceptable solutions when products are defective. Prioritizes which defects will be resolved in which release. Communicates the release to all stakeholders. (3%)
Monitor Customer feedback on product features and services and acts to refine the product accordingly (5%)
Support a Corporate Director in various initiatives (5%)
Pay Rate: $50k-75K/hr MAX DOE
