Job Description: Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Senior Antenna Design Engineer to help bring a new perspective to a top satellite program in Newtown, PA. This person should be a strong communicator and know how to lead and motivate a diverse team of 10-20 satellite antenna engineers in the design modification, final qualification and production and test of a complex diplexed multi-beam UHF satellite antenna.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to follow programs from design concept through delivery of the flight hardware to insure that there are no test issues. You will focus on research, design, development, and test on a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Ka antennas, PIM mitigation, diplexers, and should have familiarity with Bus 1540.
In collaboration with senior leads and other highly experienced members of the organization, this position will require a quick learner, ability to work independently, and self-motivation. Engineering will be working primarily with phased array programs that are currently in IRAD phase, which involves both design and hands-on testing.

Requirements: - Position does not require a clearance but must be US Citizen - Working knowledge with antenna testing ranges, PIM, high power - Must have a strong understanding of satellite/space based antenna engineering, production and test - Technical experience with satellite/space based antenna design (UHF, antenna subsystems, Ka antennas, and component design) - Proven organizational skills in order to facilitate meetings with multiple members of the team - Proven leadership skills, a problem solver, troubleshooter, manage situations, conduct problem solving sessions - Enjoy working in fast paced environment - Must have excellent communication skills - A seasoned professional with at least 15 years of experience in technical roles
