Job Description:
Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is currently searching for a Sr. Radar Engineer to work full-time for a major aerospace and defense company located near Denver, CO.

Customer Facing Responsibilities:
-Create system interface specifications
-Understand the customer's antenna subsystem requirements
-Understand and analyze performance simulations on different designs
-Be responsible for the design, integration and testing of hardware

Hardware Responsibilities:
-T/R module specification and design
-Time delay investigations
-Radiators technologies
-Receivers
-Power systems
-Control system designs

Other Responsibilities:
-Mentoring and guidance of junior-level engineers and technicians in the design, build, and test phases.
-Application of extensive technical expertise in RF engineering and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
-Responsible for guiding the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
-Works without direction and exercises sound judgement in determining the technical objectives of an assignment.
-Will develop the technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
-Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects.

Job Requirements:
-Hands-on radar hardware and radar systems experience.
-Experience with FMCW, filtering and power systems is desired.
-Experience must include antenna design, receiver design, adaptive beam forming, requirements analyses and flow down, performance estimation and integration and test.
-Requires full competency in core RF antenna skills.
-Must interface effectively with people at all levels, meet regularly with customers, provide leadership to internal groups and teams, and provide guidance to less-experienced employees.
-Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and will be required to make frequent presentations.
-Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Education requirements:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical field, plus 8 or more years experience.
Each higher level degree, Masters, etc., may substitute for two years of experience.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
