Job Description:
Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Network Administrator to work on a Temp to Hire position for a leading aerospace company in the Bay Area.

Job Description:

- Serve as lead engineer for control center local and wide-area network configuration of communications hardware [routers] and their interfaces.
- Design and maintain the network configuration for all orbit raising and in-orbit test missions.
- Provide operations support to real-time communications and commonly used network router communication protocols including TCP/IP, WAN and LAN technologies.

Experience Level:
4 Years

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of routers, switches, hubs and network interface devices.
- Working knowledge of operating various communication equipment components, e.g., modems, routers, and switches.
- Working knowledge of newer technologies such as VOIP, VPN/Security, WLAN, and VLAN.
- Operate test equipment, e.g. oscilloscope and bit error rate test set.
- Establish communication circuit interfaces (ISDN, 4-Wire DDS, T-1).
- Working knowledge of multiplexers, as required to configure and make changes.
- Knowledge of voice circuits, 4-Wire, FXS, and FXO.
- Knowledge of voice net protocol.
- Familiar with/able to configure network monitoring programs (What's Up, MRTG, Solar Winds, etc).
- Familiar with configuring NAT and interfacing with other protocols (EIGRP to OPSF/BGP)
- Minimum 4 years of experience required with a BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- CCNA or other preferred

This position is open to all shifts and will expect occasional overtime when needed.
Local Bay Area Candidates will be considered.

Must be able to work for any U.S. Company.
