Job Description:
Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Junior RF/Microwave Engineer to support the RF and DC in-process environmental screening of flight hardware. This is a 6 month contract for a leading aerospace company in the Bay Area. Additional support of automated RF/Microwave testing of flight model units deliverable to spacecraft.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Experience Level:
3 Years

Requirements:
- RF Microwave device packaging experience.
- Must have the ability to effectively collect and organize test data, follow test procedures and instructions for the completion of assigned tasks.
- Must have thorough knowledge of RF test equipment including, but not limited to, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, Signal Generators, Power Meters, DMM's, and other assigned equipment.
- Must have experience in the measurement of RF/Microwave parameters such as Gain, NF, OIP3, NPR, phase noise, spurious, and EMC (RE, RS, CE, CS) and be able to integrate test set to measure each.
- Assemble, calibrate, and operate manual and automated test stations.
- Perform leak testing, mechanical shock, and electrical screening of flight hardware.
- Must have good "hand/eye" mechanical skills.
- Familiar with the testing and handling of hermetic packages is desired.
- Must have familiarity with MS Word and Excel.

Experience/Education:
- 2 years directly related experience with the testing of RF/Microwave devices or subassemblies with an AA/AS Degree.
- Substitute 5 years minimum experience for degree.

Local SF Bay Area Candidates Preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident / Green Card to apply.
