Period of performance : 12 Months (Can go longer with multiple extensions)
This opporunity is for three developer (Programmers) who will be responsible for all aspects of system development and maintenance including: requirements gathering, system analysis and design, documentation, coding, testing, implementation, monitoring production jobs, researching and resolving production problems, dealing with end users and hosting sites to resolve issues, acting as a point-of-contact (POC) for customers and the Project Management Office (PMO) and providing technical support to end users and other developers. The candidates should be familiar with basic Capability Maturity Module Integration (CMMI) principles. The candidates must also be willing and able to work within the confines of Government provided software tools as well as within the confines of software distribution via a desktop management service. Must be familiar with programming languages and development tools as specified in the skillset section of this document and must be willing and able to work in a team environment.
The technologies used include: HTML, JSP, JAVA, JAVA Beans, JavaScript, STRUTS, JDBC, Oracle database, PL/SQL, and UNIX scripts.
Minimum Skillset Required:
Developers (programmers) with proven experience in the following:
? JAVA
? JAVA Beans
? JavaScript
? STRUTS
? JDBC
? HTML
? Oracle database 10g or higher and PL/SQL programming
? SQL
? Familiarity with the use of version control tools (such as CVS, PVCS)
? Knowledge of the use of development tools like TOAD or SQL*Developer
The candidates must be able to communicate very clearly verbally and in writing in English with a wide variety of personnel including managers, customers, developers, System Administrators, Database Administrators, etc. Although infrequent, this position may require occasional weekend/evening support.
