Job Description:
We have a need for an Information Assurance Specialist to work on project for our Federal Government client.
This job requires DoD Security Clearance hence only US citizens can apply.

Duration : 6+ months (Very long term with multiple extensions)

Security Clearance : ADP II (We will sponsor the clearance for the qualifying candidates)
US Citizenship : US Citizenship is Mandatory
Primary responsibilities:
* Acting independently provides information security direction, consultation to Government Information Assurance Teams and business guidance for information assurance projects
* Acts as consultant, providing technical and business guidance on information security
* Assists in creating and delivering presentations, writing information security publications and articles and services and participates in developing strategies and standards as they relate to information security
* Analyzes industry and Government wide trends, laws, and standards and recommends methods, procedures, and products to solve information security problems
* Participates in the design of new products or solutions to ensure Information Assurance requirements or risks are considered and documented on the front end of IT solutions
* Audits and enforces the compliance of Information Assurance procedures
* When auditing, ensures that the system, network and communications administration staff and product development staff are achieving compliance with DoD and Army Information Assurance standards
* Verifies that WAN, LAN server, hardware and software and data recoverability solutions and access control solutions are implemented in accordance with DoD and Army Information Assurance standards
* Must be able to conduct vulnerability assessments of enterprise systems using DoD and Army approved tools and generate reports from findings
Essential requirements:
* Excellent verbal and written communications, strong oral as well as strong interpersonal and inter-group skills. Strong team player, deadline oriented, results driven person
* DOD IAM-lll and Army IT-I, requirements must be met, capable of passing a NAC, and cleared or capable of obtaining SSBI clearance. US citizenship required
* No less than 5 years of Information Assurance or Information Security experience
* Must have a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or become certified within 6 months at no expense to the account
* Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
* Ability and willingness to work in Ft. Knox, KY
Preferred Skills:
* Military background and/or experience with recruiting applications
* Strong client facing skills
* ITIL, CMMI and/or ISO experience
* UNIX administration experience
* Cisco IOS experience
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
