We are looking for a Web Engineer for one of our direct end client in Fort Knox, KY for a contract assignment to begin ASAP till May 2010 (with a possibility of an extension).

Provides support in specialized technology areas that can include, but is not limited to, elements such as: Web design, research, studies, requirements/specifications definition, analysis, assessments, planning, acquisition, design, development, integration, testing, installation, performance tuning, deployment, or maintenance. Interfaces with users at various levels during the support process. Assists with strategic or tactical planning to justify, market, or manage the technology needed for successful business operations. Supports user training, as required. Contributes to or develops technical documentation. Contributes to technical presentations. Uses applicable methodologies, modeling/estimating techniques, tools, applications, systems, software, or databases to perform assigned tasks. Complies with the standards and organization requirements relative to specific assignments.
Minimum Qualifications:
=======================
-> 4+ years of technical experience in web-based applications software development for complex business applications using most recent Java EE tools and techniques.
-> 3+ years of web development experience including web enabled applications using XML, UML and Object Oriented analysis and Design.
-> Competent to work at a technical level for all phases of applications activities.
-> Completed Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. Four years of additional general software applications development experience may be substituted for a Bachelor?s Degree.

-> Must be a US Citizen .
-> Ability to work in small, rapid-development teams
-> Work closely with customer in analyzing requirements
Optimum Candidate Qualifications:
=================================
-> 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SharePoint 2003 / 2007
-> 3+ years of experience developing Enterprise .NET application using .NET 2.0-3.5
-> Experience with GoArmy.com
-> Experience in a mixed UNIX and Windows environment with a focus on integrating platforms.
-> Knowledgeable about SSO implementation in the windows environment
-> Experience in any of the following:
o Microsoft Active Directory (Windows 2003 Server/Windows XP Client)
o Sun Solaris 9 and 10
o Sun One Portal
o Sun One Directory Server
o Sun One Web Server
o BEA Weblogic
o Documentum
o JBOSS
o Server Iron, Juniper, F5
