Job Description:
Job Description/Background:
*Bachelors Degree in computer related field (computer science, business, or information systems major preferred)
*5 + years of combined IT experience
*Excellent written and oral communication skills and client focus a must; demonstrated skills in technical documentation
*Proven ability to analyze, test and implement infrastructure components, operating systems and security patches/solutions.
*3 years experience with Sun Solaris
*3 years experience Windows2000(Pro)/XP/Vista Operating Systems ? User Administration, Domain Configuration and Management, Remote Administration, unattended installations
*Experience with software installation/automation - Automation scripts (Unix, Microsoft, Install Shield, etc.), Software Delivery Option (SDO), Asset Management Option (AMO)
*Strong skills in security ? Operating system patches, security patches, Anti-Virus, NSA/DISA lockdowns, File/Registry permissions, System Policy, security scans
*Strong skills in networking ? TCP/IP, VPN, RAS, DNS/WINS/DHCP
*Strong skills in troubleshooting ? determine causes of errors and drive problem resolution to ensure business continuity
*Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call during non-business hours
