Job Description: Technical Skills required: - Minimum 5 Years of General Network and Security Engineering experience. - Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, and maintaining Juniper Net screen Firewalls (NS5400, ISG2000, SSG520, etc.) ScreenOS 6.0 and newer. - Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, and maintaining Juniper Intrusion Detection Prevention (IDP) appliances. - Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, and maintaining Juniper Infranet Controllers. - Experience managing Juniper devices with Net screen Security Manager (NSM)) and maintaining NSM servers. - Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, and maintaining Enterprise Web Proxy-Cache devices, Content filters and Web AV appliances. (Experience with Bluecoat SGOS and Reporter is desired) - Experience evaluating, implementing, configuring, and maintaining Enterprise Logging solutions and Security Incident and Event Management Systems.

Requirements: Responsibilities: - Evaluate, Design, and Implement Firewall and Enterprise Security Technologies. - Network Communication Design ? Windows 2003 ? 5+ yrs - Document Firewall and Enterprise Security requirements, high level architectures, detailed designs, and operational support plans. - Provide Tier3 Security Engineering support to Government Agencies Network/Security Operations Centers. - Monitor, audit, and test Firewall systems and network segment(s) for security vulnerabilities. - Configure, maintain, test, and install patches and code upgrades for security vulnerabilities in firewall and enterprise security vendor software. - Ability to analyze security and firewall logs and investigate irregularities and trouble shoot network issues as needed. - Actively monitors security newsgroups, announcements, and mailing lists and report to identify new vulnerabilities and created recommendations for patching, mitigating, or accepting associated risks. - Investigates available and advanced security technologies of automation and information systems processes, and then applies basic management principles to adapt to a variety of subject matter situations to increase the scope and effectiveness of the Firewalls and enterprise security devices. - Must keep up with the latest Security Issues, Trends, and developments by researching and attending briefings, classes and conferences. - Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of the Firewall software and infrastructure. - Experience responding to US-CERT notifications and supporting Government Agency Computer Incident Response Teams providing incident response team support and incident documentation as needed. - Ability to document weekly activities and provide monthly status report input. - Willingness to support Network Maintenance activities after hours. (Occasional night and weekend support is required.)
