Job Description: VP of Sales, Medicare Gateway and CRM Applications
Location : Southborough MA
Primary Responsibility: Government works is looking for a Vice President of Sales for its latest state of the art technology application, Medicare Gateway and Customer Relations Management (CRM) Application.
Product Description: The Medicare Gateway and CRM web-based applications are marketed to healthcare insurance carriers with Medicare Advantage plans. These applications automate previously manual processes to verify eligibility and reconciliation. Clients have seen immediate return on investment due to increased efficiency as well as timely payments from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Responsibilities include all aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation to close. The VP of Sales will work with the internal sales support to generate leads, once the lead has been qualified the VP of Sales will become the primary contact for the prospective client. Duties will include further qualification of leads, setting up both web an on-site demonstrations, preparing presentations for web and on-site meeting that articulates Government works value proposition. The VP of Sales should be prepared to demonstrate the product(s) to prospective clients. Interaction with a number of departments at Government works (internal sales, marketing, sales and corporate management) is critical for successful sales.
Requirements: The VP of Sales, the Medicare Gateway and CRM must have experience selling business applications to health insurance carriers. A strong understanding and operational experience with the Medicare Advantage products and the CMS requirements is critical. A high level knowledge of information technology trends, particularly web based technology and development (i.e., web services, service oriented architecture, .NET platform is helpful. A dynamic personality with strong presentation skills are required. The ability to work in collaboratively with all levels of the organization and to pitch in at all levels as well as work independently will be key to the success of this position. Attention to detail, good follow up skills and strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Reporting Structure and Compensation: The VP Sales, Medicare Gateway and CRM reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales. Compensation will include a base salary plus commissions.
