Description of Work:
This engagement is for an Oracle Applications Developer / Software Architect with strong knowledge of financial systems.
The selected candidate will join the existing team of developers in the design, development implementation, and support of a multi-tiered application. Additionally, this candidate will impart knowledge and assist in the technical enhancements of the system.
The Developer will be responsible for the design, programming, debugging, and modifications of Application environment. The Developer writes code, completes programming and performs testing using current programming languages and technologies (including web based development tools, JAVA scripts, and batch processing tools), and subsequently creates documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Responsibilities also include interfacing with users and other areas that interface with application to define system requirements or necessary modifications.

Required Experience:
10+ year's hands on programming experience developing Oracle WEB Applications / Java systems solutions.
Must have experience with 3rd-party tools for version control and code promotion.
Must have experience developing in a structured development environment using latest development frameworks (ADF) and methodologies.
3+ years experience using Crystal Reports.
Must be competent to work at highest technical level of all phases of application system analysis and programming activity.
Experienced in software development and business modeling of WEB applications.
Client/Server systems and distributed Applications.
Thorough knowledge with J2EE application platform configuration and performance optimization and hands on experience with J2EE application deployment technology.
Strong WEB application development skills.
Experience in N-tier Client/Server based Internet technology, intranet portal design/development; WEB based data reporting system and Framework development for Internet application.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree along with 10+ years of related experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and candidates must have the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, upper management, etc in both formal and informal situations.
Proven experience implementing systems in a large scale Oracle or Database environment.
Ability to work under stress with "time critical" deadlines and expectations.
Ability to handle high levels of responsibility, self directed, with strong organizational and project management skills.
A high degree of creative ability, analytical and technical skills and independent judgment.
