Donovan Technical Staffing is a full-service staffing company that specializes in placing Software professionals across the U.S. and Canada. We currently have an immediate need for a Sr. Software Engineer with .NET API Application Development experience. Software Engineer
In this position, you will be part of a team chartered with developing and enabling our client's internal and third party vendor development of observability solutions for the future high-speed links/buses.
Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to:
- API/application development for SW applications for observability solutions
- Participate in the definition and driving of bus observability software solutions for future high speed busses,
- Execute challenging SW API designs on some products.
- Provide Third Party Logic Analyzer Vendors with technical information and directions to enable them to create observability solutions
- You must possess a Master or Bachelor's degree in CS/EE plus 5 years of direct experience in the Application SW/API development role.
Additional qualifications include:
- Solid experience in designing, developing, debugging, testing and supporting of API/application software in a Product environment.
- Good prototyping skills required.
- Solid experience in developing robust Software products/tools.
- Software development experience in an Object Oriented environment including UML and/or other OOAD methodologies.
- Proficiency in MFC, C++, Win32 SDK and Visual Studio 2003 and 6.0 is required.
- Profiency/experience in XML, C# and .NET technologies is required.
- Good understanding/experience of COM based development is desirable.
- Solid skills in API development/support are required.
- Good experience in eXtreme Programming (XP) development environment including iterative design/development, development of automated test cases and refactoring.
The position requires related experience, strong Kernel mode Device Driver experience (preferably Windows), Windows DDK and C++."
- Experience in Logic Analyzer based SW development is desirable.
