Proposal Specialist needed for International Law Firm (Contract ? 3 months - part time)
We are looking for a Proposal/communications specialist who has background in Legal Marketing or Project Finance proposals. Candidate is only need 3 days a week and the assignment is only for 3 months. Below you will find a detailed summary of the position. It is imperative that candidate has experience in either the legal marketing or project finance arena.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Position reports to the Proposal Team Manager. The Senior Proposal Specialist will deliver high quality, tailored pitch books, RFP responses and other business development materials. Will also assist in the request for information needed to support various business development efforts, most notably the search and production of transaction and case (experience) lists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions of Position):
?X Respond to, draft, produce and manage pitches and proposals, in a range of practice, industry, or geographic areas with a concentration on the Project Finance and Bank Finance sectors
?X Collaborate with partners, other attorneys and practice/business development specialists on the strategy of pitches/proposals incorporating internal and external research on the prospect (including the development of specific selling messages and value propositions)
?X Lead the research for and development of responses to specific RFPs
?X Respond to requests for transactions and cases to support business development opportunities
?X Draft and assemble appropriate collateral materials for specific requests for information
? Provide support to other members of the department as necessary

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
?X Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development and/or communications with at least one year of experience in pitch and proposal support for an AmLaw 100 firm
?X Bachelor's degree required. M.B.A. a plus
?X Proven ability to develop winning proposals, pitches, presentations, and other business development materials
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours to meet demands of the role
