Job Description:
DIRECTOR, PROJECT MANAGEMENT/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, Southern California
This Senior position manages business development activities as well as regional Project Management staff in commercial real estate industry. Recruits, assigns and handles performance reviews for professional staff; maintains client relationships; and drives the development of new business and revenue growth in the area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
** Direct development of new project activities and oversee activities for accounts within the designated area.
** Staff administration including recruiting, retention, training, performance reviews.
** Pursue new business and maintain proper client relationships.
** Create proposals, establish fees and prepare contract documents.
** Implement client Project Management.

Requirements:
** B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Construction Management, Business.
** Minimum of 10 years directly related experience in a corporate services or project management accountability role in commercial construction in the LA area.
** Must have a general understanding of real estate project management industry standards, corporate and/or institutional real estate processes, general construction, corporate management, architecture/ interior design, office technology, and environmental factors.
** Proven leadership ability, administrative ability, technical background and project responsibility experience required.
** Have strong presentation and marketing skills and superior written and verbal communication skills.
** Be capable of originating and maintaining budgets, schedules, and various reports.
** Software competency: Microsoft Project and Excel & Access. |
