Job Description:
Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is currently looking for a Business Manager to work with a major Aerospace manufacturing company located in Hollister, CA.
Job Summary:
- Directing and coordinating financial planning activities in support of the programs that utilize Earned Value Management System as the reporting tool to their customers
- Consolidating the product team inputs (bookings, sales, gross margin, proposal and R&D spending and other key performance metrics) to generate forecasted profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Tracking and monitoring performance to company budget and forecasts
- Preparing detailed analysis and reporting packages to brief senior management
- Assisting the Program Managers in performing their program duties as they apply to managing cost and schedules
- Developing and managing the Cost Account Managers relative to support the EVMS businesses
- Conducting internal reviews/audits of the Earned Value Management System in accordance with the DoD and DCMA models for effective EVM management
- Acts as liaison with the company accounting staff and product team finance leads on reporting, planning, and company policies.
- Supporting the General Manager by analyzing cost drivers and evaluating business opportunities to improve the financial performance of the product team
- Monitoring and tracking program operating expense and capital spending.
- Assisting functional managers in preparing the proper financial justification for capital expenditure requests. |
