Job Description:
Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Sr. Subcontracts Administrator to work on a long-term position (6-8 years) for a leading aerospace/defense company at their facility in Pennsylvania.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow within the company. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in moving from subcontract administrator into subcontract program management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with outside companies, including other aerospace and defense companies.
This person will assist in the development of subcontract specifications, analyze statements of work, and understand terms and conditions for the procurement of complex specialized materials, equipment, and services. You will prepare bid packages, possibly conduct bidders conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer and monitor the resulting subcontracts. You will also negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, and modifications to subcontracts. |
Requirements:
- Provides direction and monitoring related to FAR/DFAR/ITAR compliance
- Responsible for approving and processing subcontractors with leading Aerospace/Defense companies
- Responsible to assure compliance of business contracts
- Participates actively in program review meetings and resolves any matters affecting subcontract administration
- Proficient with MS Suite of products (Excel, Powerpoint, ACCESS). Strong multi-tasking ability, good communication and presentation skills
- Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree ? in either a technical discipline, Business, Finance, Law or Marketing, or related field
- Experience with Satellite or Ground station hardware
- SAP experience, previous space experience and requirements analysis and verification |
