PROJECT: Senior software engineer to develop, update, and upgrade software applications for a variety of ARC-210 V/UHF radio communications products.
POSITION:
?Software requirements definition, design, code, test, integration,
verification, formal test, release and documentation.
?Development of embedded processor systems using digital signal
processors (DSP) processors is required. All software is written in
the C programming language.
?Individual contributor to achieve project objectives working under
direction of technical leadership
?Learn, understand and utilize internal processes and tools for the
development of software
REQUIRED:
?Embedded C programming within a DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
environment.
?Basic knowledge of digital, analog and systems engineering
principles.
?Familiarity with software configuration tools and software change
management tools
?Preferred software configuration tools: Rational ClearCase or
Subversion
?Preferred software change management tool: ClearQuest
?Preferred processors: TI DSP TMS320C5x or Intel x86
?Basic knowledge of RF engineering principles
?Experience developing software for Mil-Std-1553 and RS-232/422
interfaces (all design tasks will follow a structured design
process.)
