The Configuration Manager will perform CM duties in support of the software development life cycle. Develop and maintain CMMi based policies and procedures to control and manage project related items and baselines. Build and maintain functional baselines, exercise version control, and control changes through the baselines and ensure traceability of all work products. Author CM plans and facilitate configuration control and peer reviews. Develop, manage and maintain CM techniques, processes and practices to ensure high quality software development documentation and product information. The position also requires the actual building, tagging and generation of releases and associated release documentation (Release Manager.)
Required Skills ? Must satisfy the minimum qualifications for the OS Configuration Manager labor category.
? This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Lifestyle polygraph clearance
? Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent work experience) and 5+ years CM experience
? Must have used a configuration management tool for software development, fixes, and documentation, such as Subversion, ClearCase and ClearQuest
? Must be self-motivated, proactive, and require little to no supervision
? Have the ability to interface directly with the customer and software development team members
? Excellent written and oral skills
? Experience with software testing and quality assurance

?Experience using InstallAnywhere
? IEEE standard 828-1998, the CMMI (the Capability Maturity Model Guidelines for Improving the Software Process, Carnegie-Mellon University Software Engineering Institute) model.
? Systems Engineering experience
? DOORs experience
