Job Description:
Our client is seeking a IS Site Director *** SWSA (Southwest Service Area). This position will be seated in Olympia. The Site Director serves as the primary liaison between the regional I.S. organization and the Southwest Washington Service Area. This position advocates for SWSA with I.S. management in the areas of budgeting, service and project prioritization, represents I.S. positions and interests to Service Area leadership and employees, is responsible for conducting business systems analysis and providing the coordination and communication necessary between the SA***s users of IS services and regional I.S. support resources, and assists the user community with strategic planning for future IS systems and the ongoing optimization of existing systems. Additionally, the Site Director participates in major systems implementations and may provide local project leadership for small projects, and is responsible for general oversight of all I.S. activities, either ongoing or planned, for SWSA.Key responsibilities assigned to this position will include, but will not be limited to: Responsiblity for the entity***s desktop support functions on a 7x24 basis Developing, revising, and implementing work methods, standards, and procedures to improve operations and to meet standards outlined in the entity***s service level agreement Assisting in the coordination of the local I.S. steering or oversight committee(s) Preparing or providing input to customer project justifications, charters, budget requests, and requests for proposals Participating as a key IS team member on Regional projects that impact the SA Serving as the I.S. liaison to SA management and executives, including attendance at non-I.S. meetings to build collaborative customer relationships Requirements: Education: This position requires a Bachelor***s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or similar area of study. The education requirement may be waived if the hiring authority deems the individual has equivalent experience and/or technical training.

Requirements:
Experience:This position requires a minimum of 4 years of technical, professional, and/or managerial experience with increasing responsibilities, preferably in a hospital-based environment. Experience with McKesson systems is strongly preferred. Successful candidates must possess experience with and a general knowledge of healthcare operations and computer systems used in healthcare operations. Candidates must also possess experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively build relationships with site leadership and healthcare providers. Who we are!
