Job Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Director, Business and Solutions Architecture, the incumbent will be responsible for working with IT Divisional organizations, GTS and other enterprise architects in order to manage and evolve the existing Business and Solution Architecture. They will help the client reach its desired architectural and technology landscape by doing hand-on work and managing projects that will create architectures, standards and roadmaps to achieve the desired future landscape. Using the client?s IT operating model and EA frameworks, the Director will support the institutionalization of consistent architecture practices across the organization providing thought leadership to various IT initiatives and leadership teams.
Required:
10+ years of progressive IT experience; Enterprise Architecture or equivalent experience preferred (business, information, technical, or solution architecture); Experience leading application development, technical or EA staff (directly or within matrixes) is required. Must have demonstrated strong project management and influence skills. Must have ability to: a) effectively interact with senior management to assess solution requirements and communicate architecture decisions; b) effectively lead projects which may have global implications; c) create required architectural models and roadmaps; d) integrate architectures at the conceptual and logical levels, and assess appropriate solutions; e) work effectively as a team leader and team member f) think strategically and at enterprise level f) communicate complex material very effectively at any levels of the organization, utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills and facilitation techniques
Experience in internal IT process improvement and related solutions is desired (ITIL, CMMI, COBIT, PMO, etc.). Experience in report structure on Hyperion would be a big plus. Prior experience with solutions in the following domains: Finance, HR, Order Management, Procurement, Facilities, is a plus. Implementation or EA experience related to SAP.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry preferred, but not required. Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related study. Advanced degree is preferred. Cross Functional Experience Required.
Rate : Up to 90/hr depending on the experience etc. |
