Job Description:
Acts as the overall process coordinator to ensure accountability and ownership during contract development, mobilization activities, and performance review of supplemental workers. Responsibilities include coordinating contractor oversight, site administration, process and procedure adherence and performance reviews of the contractor while working on and off-site, including but not limited to safety, quality, timeliness and error-free performance. Acts as liaison between company and contractor workforces as needed. Provides support in problem resolution throughout the project. Communicates project/work status to various levels of site personnel including management, other company organizations, contractors and suppliers. Monitors the successful completion of assigned project deliverables and milestones. Some travel may be required within the Nuclear Department to provide fleet support. a) Monitors and interfaces with the Contract Requisition Originator, Contract Administrators, 35% Augmented Service Coordinators, Training personnel and Job Site Supervisors during contract development, execution and review to ensure policies, procedures and contract requirements are met. b) Acts as a liaison between company and contractor workforces. Ensures contractor work is 30% executed safely (Nuclear, Industrial, and Radiological) per contractual documents and in accordance with applicable procedures, policies and guidelines. Monitors budgets and schedules, to ensure station standards and expectations are met. Assists individuals in understanding their defined positions, expectations, and roles and responsibilities necessary for their job function. c) Coordinates the development of bid specifications, RFP's, RFQ's, contractor selection, bid 15% evaluation and award process. Responsible for contract work administration, schedule, performance tracking and contract closeout. d) Coordinates effective working relationships with contactors and internal organizations to 10% maximize work efficiency and responsiveness. Delivers weekly or daily contract work progress reports and provides input and/or leads presentations as required. e) Assists in problem resolution throughout the duration of the contract. Communicates 10% contract work status as needed to various levels of site personnel including management and other company organizations. Develops Post Project Evaluation and participates in post job critiques. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in business or science preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge of utility project concepts and practices. Minimum work experience of 6 years in an electrical generating utility - with preference in a nuclear generating facility. Candidates must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving ability, oral and written communication skills are required. The ability to establish working relations with all levels, from executive management to front line contributors is also required. Familiarity with operational practices and nuclear plant technology is required. Selection criteria may include testing and/or assessment. Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in business or science preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge of utility project concepts and practices. Minimum work experience of 6 years in an electrical generating utility - with preference in a nuclear generating facility
