Project Description:
Position will encompass a set of dynamic responsibilities, including support and enhancement of custom Java interfaces written on top of JD Edwards Enterprise One Tools to utilize JD Edwardss business functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support JD Edwards Enterprise One system applications on Windows and Oracle platform.
Design, develop and maintain Java interfaces based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools (8.96) .
Develop and maintain interfaces between external systems and JD Edwards applications.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support development activities.
Carry out development tasks to the highest quality standards, including Coding & Documentation, Unit & System testing, and New releases.
Analyze functional requirements, identify options for meeting technical solutions and recommend a course of action.
Provide technical support for resolving day to day production problems and questions.
Act as a consultant and team lead for projects requiring technical expertise.
Modify and create objects in a JD Edwards Enterprise One environment.
Analyze processes and assist with the design and development of new solutions.
Develop and maintain design and end user documentation, where required.
Ensure tasks are completed as scheduled.

Requirements:
Tools/Technologies/Skills/Experience:
5-8 years extensive experience in analysis, design, and development utilizing Java language and exposure web based Java application : ( Required).
2-4 years of extensive experience in analysis, design, and development utilizing JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Development Tools: ( Required).
2-4 years experience with JD Edwards 8.10, 8.11 or 8.12 Web-Based modules, including Account Payable:(Required).
Knowledge and ability to read, understand, modify, and debug Java, JDBC and SQL: ( Required).
Strong working experience and understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle; specifically related to EnterpriseOne application development : ( Required).
Experience with Oracle 10g and DB2: ( Required).
Working knowledge of XML Publisher and Web Services development (in Java) : ( Highly Desirable ).
Experience with Oracle BPEL and Fusion : ( Highly Desirable ).
Writing Skills:
Strong writing skills for creating technical documentation pertaining to application development and enhancement.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
