Job Description:
Duties: Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, assists with the design, engineering and development of CICS sytems technology solutions. May support the design, analysis, development and/or implementation phase of engineering infrastructure solutions for small projects. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving CICS infrastructure issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations.

Requirements:
Skills: CICS Transaction Server systems engineering, administration, and support. TxSeries on AIX administration a plus. Skill set should also include: JCL, batch job execution, IT background, z/OS concepts, strong analytical skills, good judgment, customer focused, excellent communication skills. Must also be able to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and handle conflict situations.
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. 3+ years experience in CICS systems administration and engineering. 3+ years experience in TxSeries on AIX systems experience. |
